"Ravanesan", first presented as a brand new production directed by Seran Sribalan (student of the "Dhananjayans"). 4 dancers and 6 musicians take you on a journey through the life of the great King Ravana. Premiered Oct 25th 2008 in Sydney

Ravenesan is a Sri lankan traditional Coothu drama, produced recently by Prof. Maunaguru at The Lional Wendt Theatre in Colombo on behalf of the Neelan Thiruchchelvam Trust.

Sivagnam Jeyasankar , lecturer from Eastern University, Sri Lanka performed the role of Ravanesan. Most of the performers are from Eastern University and Eastern Province of Sri Lanka. This play was earlier produced by Prof. Maunaguru several years ago.
