National Heritage Lecture shared with Kiula villagers

A special event will be held tomorrow (Sunday) morning at my place for members of the Kiula Kiyawana Gunaya Mobile Library courtesy of Mr. Chandra Jayaratne, who sent me a DVD of the National Heritage Trust Lecture no 54 held in Colombo. Thank you Chandra for the thought to share it with our members who do not get such an opportunity to learn from the maestros. 

It is the lecture demonstration on "Evolution of Music in Sinhala Theatre" rendered by Dr. Jayalath Manoratne, senior lecturer Mahanama Wickramasinghe, Ratna Lalani       Jayakody, Nissanka Diddeniya and Rodney Warnakula. It is a 2 1/2 hour Programme. Biscuits and a Beli Mal drink will be served.
